Michael Kopach

Illustrator of Americana

Words like nostalgia.. memory.. peace.. timeless.. are what come to mind when taking in the work of Michael Kopach. Beautiful pieces that are adept at evoking that wonderful feeling of “coming home again”, of traveling down dusty country roads on a day and happening upon a scene that stays with you forever… Often done in pen & ink, or maybe with an added watercolor wash, these captivating pieces will brighten your home, and your day every time you see them.

Artist Statement: I was born in Cleveland, grew up in Euclid, Ohio and currently have a home in Sharon Center, Medina County.

I attended Cooper School of Art in Cleveland and graduated with an Associates Degree in Advertising Art.

After Military service in the Army, I was hired by American Greetings Corporation and spent thirty years working as a Technical Illustrator.

As a self-taught artist, my mission is to capture the architecture, scenery and antique transportation of the disappearing American landscape, using photography, pen & ink, and other mediums.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
